Hot Stone Massage
Possibly the ultimate in relaxation! The warm stones coax even the most resistant muscles into a state of bliss. My professional warmer keeps the stones at just the right temperature for you. Volcanic basalt stones from Texas have been chosen for their heat-retaining properties and they are naturally smoothed and shaped to glide and contour to your body. Most clients are surprised at the feel of the stones - really just a warmer, deeper extension of my hands. I have also collected stones in my travels, including of course Michigan's own Petosky stones, when I find just the right shapes and textures, to add extra "spice" to your session. This is a session I usually choose to receive when I travel, as it is often a spa specialty, drawing upon the energy of the stones that is unique to their location. If you have never experienced stone massage, or never had the stones used as an integral part of your massage, you're in for a treat!
